If it is an inhale allergy in your cat, the vet can prescribe a medicine to help the cat breath easier and they might suggest some other things you can do to help your cat.

Allergies in cats that are food, contact or fleas requires discontinuation of the food, keeping materials and things always from the cat that causes contact allergies in cats and also the flea allergy requires ridding your cat of the fleas as well as your home. Allergies in cats can be severe and if not treated properly can cause other related health problems such as respiratory distress and in some cases with food allergies digestive problems. If you notice your cat scratching excessively, sneezing, coughing or vomiting, you need to find out what is causing the problem, which will more than likely be an allergy.
